(These are healed scars) but, he tried to make himself more undesirable in the eyes of his abuser & captor
(General unicorn factoid) Unicorns generally heal well but because he was nourished poorly in his captivity they didn't fully heal so they're there, permanently

he's hypersexual, cptsdĀ + ocd(safety compulsion)
hypersexual, but also repulsed by it

cptsd, frequent flashbacks, emotional regulation issues
ocd, frequently finds necessary and are often non optional. He always has to have a source of light in a room/place he's in that either illuminates himself or the focus/half the room, needs to lock primary methods of entry minimum 3 times, and frequently has to wash his horn a minimum of 3 times a day (morning/noon/night), probably some others that are alot of tapping/rechecking his limbs are still on him -
in his captivity he was constantly threatened that:
his limbs were about to be removed
he is never safe in places he cannot see
his safety was always at risk if a door was open.
[FAST FORWARD] Some poor coping skills and marinated trauma later he is not a good person either.
He uses his looks to get things from people transactional relationships unstable emotions allat. He copes very hard in social scenes, usually always tipsy/high just enoughĀ to suppress his compulsions)
Has some .. beliefs about unicorns. Since unicorns historically (in my universe) were always prized/hunted/prioritized....and poached. he views unicorns as being the epitome. hes...discriminatory to other species ... but this comes out in sometimes basic interactions. He struggles to have variety species friends. He will struggle to grasp there's species as or even equally beautiful as unicorns.
He doesn't know the reason why he was kidnapped for such a long time, it WAS because of his prized unicorn status but he was always told he was ugly.
his abuser actually "forcefully" had him take hormones and he had to pretend he was disgusted /repulsed by the idea of becoming a man or smtn. captor thought he took a boy but no. this started when star was? rlly young, ages are indecriminate atm but he is an adult as of current
his abuser does die in a fire like 2 years before his current
friends with nunu but because nunu is a fucking poser about his horn situation he actually is walking on eggshells but doesn't want to shatter stars belief until he..s...healed
